Frames and Boxes are pleased to announce winning First Prize in the Regional Framing Award, run by The Fine Arts Trade Guild.

Picture Framers from the South West were invited to enter for the award which was held in Bristol.  All entries had to frame the same print and were judged on the creativity and attractiveness of the design, as well as the technical framing skills that had to comply with the Guild Five Levels of Framing.

As regional winner, Frames and Boxes will go through in May to the National judging at the Art and Industry Awards Event 2008.

Molly and Steve are proud of the team effort that achieved two top places in this prestigious event in the framing industry.

Staff member Laura chose the winning design.  Laura works on the shop floor helping people choose and design the right framing combination for their pictures.  Guild commended Framer Steve and assistant framer Lynne framed the entries and Lynne also chose the Third Prize design.

So, all in all a winning team to be proud of !
